Every 3 December, the world comes together to celebrate the rights, dignity, and daily experiences of persons with disabilities. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much further we can go in building a world that includes everyone.
This year’s UN theme,
“Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress,”
is a call to move beyond awareness and into real action. Inclusion doesn’t happen by accident; it happens through intentional design, equitable policies, and a collective commitment to fairness.
A truly inclusive society is one where public spaces are accessible by default, digital products follow universal design, workplaces embrace disability as part of human diversity, and policies are shaped with—
not just for
—disability communities.
The message is clear, inclusion drives progress. When barriers fall, innovation rises. When every person is empowered to participate fully, society becomes stronger, fairer, and more resilient.
Onwards!

As we mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2025, AccessTime invite you to imagine what a fully inclusive digital society might look like, and to take tangible steps toward it.
A world where accessibility is a shared value. A world where persons with disabilities are not only included but embraced, not only accommodated but empowered. A world where social progress reflects everyone’s story, not just those who face fewer barriers.
This year’s theme is a reminder that inclusion is necessary,
and it starts with us.
